Why Have We Chosen the DPC Model?
We have chosen the Direct Primary Care model because it allows us to combine the best of modern pediatric healthcare with old fashioned time and attention from your doctor.
DPC allows us to partner with families to understand everything that affects their child's unique health needs: their personality, their challenges, and their goals.
This enables Dr. Amy to approach your child’s care in a proactive, meaningful way.
What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is an alternative healthcare model that provides access to high quality, patient-centered medical care with a simplified membership fee that includes all of your child’s routine and sick visits.
Do you take insurance?
As a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice, we do not accept insurance. We will provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance for all visits you attend with Dr. Maidenberg. If you have a PPO, reimbursement will be according to your out-of-network benefit schedule. Also, expenses paid to Sage Pediatrics are typically eligible for reimbursement by your Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Accounts.
